Manager, Global Partner Billing

The manager of Global Partner Billing will be responsible for all aspects of billing and accounting related to our Cloud Partner (GCP, AWS, Microsoft) Marketplace and resell deals . This is a significant portion of our revenue and will require a deep understanding of our product offerings as it relates to Cloud Partner Marketplace transactions. The role will be highly visible to the Accounting and Finance team as well as Sales, and Deal Desk.
This role can be based out of our Austin office or remotely in the Austin region.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue/Partner Team
- Reconcile payments from Marketplace (MP) providers to invoices issued to identify unpaid invoices or overpayments that need to be refunded
- Reconcile marketplace billing and reported Atlas consumption on a monthly basis
- Report usage on a monthly basis to cloud providers
- Manage all marketplace-related month-end financial close activities, including:
- Track, analyze, and record entries to account for marketplace-funded customer contracts across cloud providers
- Analyze and record entries to account for cost of revenue and marketplace A/R
- Be a billing and revenue subject matter expert for new Marketplace product and invoicing model launches
OTC
- Follow-up and resolution of unpaid invoices directly with Cloud Partner Marketplace teams
- Close opportunities in Salesforce and review support documents for accuracy and completeness
- Become the billing and booking expert (process) for Marketplace providers
- Review disbursement reports provided by Marketplace partner vendors and apply cash deposits to invoices accordingly
- Liaise between finance and partner team to advise on new initiatives and finance requirements
- Monitor refunds, credits, cancellations and adjustments. Create associated AR transactions when necessary
Qualifications
- 8-12 years billing/accounts receivable experience, preferably with a tech/software oriented organization
- Netsuite and Salesforce experience preferred
- Significant experience in excel - Advanced knowledge of formulas, V-lookups/Index Match, etc
- Highly detailed oriented with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders/customers
- Outstanding Communication skills //Highly Motivated //Self starter who can drive projects to completion
