Senior Accountant, External Reporting & Technical Accounting

We are seeking a Senior Accountant, to join Digital Turbine's financial reporting team. This position, reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting, will have a critical role supporting the Company's quarterly SEC reporting cycles, will help create and maintain global accounting policies, help administrate the Company's equity program, and will support technical accounting efforts. This position will provide the opportunity to work with leaders from across the global accounting and finance organizations with the potential for significant growth and development. Ideally, the Senior Accountant, will leverage the experience gained in this role for greater responsibility and promotion in the future.

Responsibilities:

      • Assist with the preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K, earnings press releases (Form 8-K), and other regulatory filings
      • Ensure compliance with SEC and US GAAP reporting requirements, including evaluating the impact of new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations
      • Build and maintain data flows between the Company's accounting system(s) and SEC reporting software (Workiva)
      • Partner and collaborate with the global operational Controllers and their teams to develop quarterly reporting timelines and disclosure templates, ensuring accurate and timely completion of disclosures
      • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for SEC filings and perform tie-outs/validations of filings
      • Support external financial audits and testing of internal controls
      • Prepare quarterly and annual disclosure checklists
      • Assist with the preparation of earnings press release tables
      • Perform technical research and prepare technical accounting memos
      • Assist with the ongoing monitoring and implementation, when necessary, of significant new accounting pronouncements
      • Assist with administration of the Company's equity program

Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance/Economics
      • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or in the process of obtaining CPA licensure, preferred
      • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least one year of experience in a SEC reporting role or corporate accounting role with a public company
      • Public accounting experience preferred (will consider candidates directly from large public accounting form if they have experience with public companies and their SEC filings)
      • Experience with Workiva preferred
      • Strong foundational understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations
      • Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively and efficiently
      • Self-directed and accountable with impressive attention to detail
      • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convey the Company's quarterly/annual financial story to readers of the financial statements
      • Works well both individually and in a team in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to interact successfully with stakeholders and business partners across functions and varying levels both inside and outside the organization
