What you’ll do…

As the Senior Director of Finance you will be responsible for leading the worldwide Sales and Marketing finance organization by providing budgeting support and assisting in a variety of analytical and strategic projects. You have a strong analytical perspective and a commitment to learn & chip in to the success of the company. You are able to demonstrate a high aim to learn and engage in supporting the various Sales and Marketing teams which could include investment prioritization across all direct and indirect selling channels. This position can be located either in San Mateo, California or Ann Arbor, Michigan.

In addition;

  • Partner with VP level business owners to submit budgets, forecasts and actuals.
  • Report monthly on variances and accuracy and develop and improve upon existing financial planning and forecast processes.
  • We are looking for you to be a business partner with sales/marketing leaders and sales/marketing ops by producing high-impact value-add analyses (e.g., white space analysis, sales channel investment prioritization, marketing ROI studies).
  • Develop and report on key Sales and Business performance measurements
  • Maintain sales and marketing headcount plans
  • Partner with Sales Operations and use multiple internal sources to review the Sales Forecast with the FP&A Team each week
  • Perform various analyses in support of structure and modeling of Sales plans
  • Perform monthly close activities, including accruals, reclasses, review, and research of variances

Skills you have…

  • You have prior experience in Sales & Marketing finance and 15 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • You have a deep understanding of SaaS GTM models.
  • You also have Strong Excel skills preferably with experience in creating models from scratch
  • People would consider you a Self-Starter & fast learner in the areas of business & finance models, processes, and systems
  • In addition you have Excellent presentation, collaboration and communications skills, plus Strong analytical skills & attention to detail, with a keen eye for trends, analysis and recommendations.
