Iodine Software is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team. In this role, you will serve as an active and engaged member of the Company’s Finance and Accounting team and report directly to the Controller. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for solving complex business problems spanning a wide range of cross-functional business activities, including deep analytics, insight building, and business recommendations with a heavy focus on revenue and identification of key drivers to assist senior management in the decision-making process. Additional responsibilities include being the “go-to” person for preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and reports. The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding analytical abilities, critical thinking, a steadfast and intellectual curiosity, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
What You’ll Do
- Support budget and forecasting activities as required
- Proactively identify issues and implement process improvements to streamline overall processes
- Build and maintain detailed driver based financial forecasts with an integrated set of assumptions and metrics.
- Support the financial budgeting and forecasting cycle by partnering with business leaders.
- Act as a valued business partner by providing informed, proactive analysis and business insights to enable effective decision-making and efficient resource utilization.
- Drive the consolidation and reporting of financial results and SaaS metrics to be included in the monthly board reporting package.
- Partner with accounting to provide explanation and support of variances of budget vs. actual to identify business growth opportunities and cost savings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Deliver highly detailed analyses to business leadership and upper management utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborate with peers to complete special projects while effectively managing multiple priorities.
What You'll Need
Minimum Requirements (Education, certifications and experience):
- BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant FP&A experience with increasing responsibility, preferably at a rapidly growing SaaS company
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Master of financial modeling in Excel.
- Ability to balance attention to detail with expeditious execution.
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
- High degree of autonomy, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic, capacity to get things done independently, and consistent performance with a sense of urgency and commitment.
