The Role

A career in our Cloud and Network Architecture practice, within Cloud Computing and Networking services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on the joint business relationship between PwC and Google, HP, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and other cloud based platforms that bring new and innovative services to some of the largest companies. We help our clients adopt the cloud to transform Information Technology, scale and streamline operations and create new cloud based businesses through our strong alliances. You'll be at the forefront of helping organisations around the globe adopt innovative technology solutions that optimise business processes or enable scalable technology. Our team helps organisations transform their network architecture and infrastructure to fundamentally change the role of Information Technology from an custodial asset to an orchestrator of business services. As part of the team, you'll focus on the architecture of data centres, including the design and implementation of network architecture and information storage to optimise innovation and programme delivery for our clients.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive-level, abilities success with managing the identification and addressing of client needs:

  • Demonstrating knowledge of Cloud platforms and the technologies that make them work. (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure);
  • Exhibiting proven knowledge of IT Service Management and how it is implemented across different operating models. (ITIL, ServiceNow);
  • Designing and developing large-scale data solutions using GCP services like DataProc, Dataflow, Cloud Bigtable, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, Cloud storage, Compute Engine, Looker, Cloud IAM, etc.;
  • Building data processing pipelines to integrate large datasets from multiple sources and formats, in both streaming and batch mode;
  • Designing and developing data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within big data architecture using Python, Java, SQL etc.;
  • Implementing and designing AI/ML, including GenAI, solutions using Vertex AI, dialogflow, Cloud Vision, CCAI, etc.; and,
  • Designing and implementing solutions across various Google Cloud Infrastructure and Hybrid Cloud services such as GCE, GKE, Cloud Run, Anthos, etc.


Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:

  • Delivering high-value solutions in dynamic and ambiguous environments;
  • Leading complex projects by bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from clients and team members;
  • Guiding delivery from project scoping to conclusion, while consistently keeping the client's goals in mind;
  • Having a passion for developing and growing team members;
  • Communicating at an executive level;
  • Serving as both a mentor and advocate for your team and PwC Community;
  • Approaching new projects with an open mind, learn from your mistakes and ask for help when needed; and,
  • Leading development of thought leadership and sales materials to grow the PwC Community, build new client relationships and business opportunities.
