Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a business partner to the firm in areas of compensation & benefits, employee relations, and policy
- Work with the SVP, Administration and HR to determine firm human capital strategies and best practices and execute daily
- Manage all benefit and 401K activities for the firm
- Work in ADP HRIS to track and report on employee data and analytics
- Work with Managers to create and track on-boarding programs for new hires
- Build and manage new initiatives in diversity and inclusion
- Partner with the business and the Recruiting Director to create and manage on-boarding and training programs for new campus hires
- Help run large scale annual projects, such as mid-year reviews, 401K audit, open enrollment, and year end processes
- Manage all employee relations issues in all offices
- Run processes for all employee visa needs, as well as manage third party payroll partnership for oversees employees
- Work with the SVP, Administration and HR to manage the annual HR budget
- Manage the activities of junior staff members
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 10 years' progressive HR experience in a dynamic, fast-paced financial services environment
- Must understand employment law, including CA state laws
- Ability to show discretion and poise in all situations
- Strong attention to detail, follow-up and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to treat sensitive/confidential information appropriately
- Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
- The ability to function professionally under pressure, while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
- Must possess personal tact, discretion and good judgment. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Occasional afterhours work and travel are necessary
