Amherst is searching for a Learning & Growth Specialist to provide support for employee centric programs that support best in class onboarding, performance management, professional growth and executive leadership expansion. As a Learning & Growth Program Specialist you will bring innovative learning solutions as well as program and project management skills to help support our programs and processes as we grow and scale. This role reports to the Director of Learning & Growth.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners and key internal stakeholders to design and create effective learning solutions that impact business results
  • Create learning tracks for all roles with defined paths of content, courses and objectives, accompanied by methodology to track progress and success
  • Program management for Leadership Development programs including: building projects plan, program logistics, liaising with speakers and providing on-site support for a wide range of programs
  • Provide subject matter expertise and education for Performance Management including communications, system questions and training materials
  • Create metrics and provide HRBPs and the business with meaningful reports on performance management and other learning & growth initiatives (e.g. completion stats, rating calibrations)
  • Provide onboarding support to create a seamless new hire experience, including organizing new hire events, designing and delivering training to managers of new hires, and conducting 90 day check-in conversations with new employees
  • Manage learning & growth projects including identification and timely execution of deliverables, communications strategy and implementation plan

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, Education or similar from an accredited university
  • 3-5 years of experience working in Human Resources; with at least 1 years of experience in Learning, Organizational Development, Performance Management or Onboarding
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and programs that support employee growth
  • Ability to use data to tell a comprehensive story
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven accomplishment in building relationships with customers and internal clients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
