WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

We are seeking a People Operations Generalist to help fuel Qualia’s next phase of rapid growth. This role will join Qualia’s People Operations team (at Qualia Human Resources team known and referred to as People Operations, the People Team, or POPs as we like to call it), helping to optimize day-do-day operations while learning and gaining experience in the fundamentals of people operations: employee onboarding and exits, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee programs and engagement, employee records and compliance, and HR systems and analytics. The ideal candidate for this role is energized by helping people, has a solid understanding of basic business and People Operations functions, demonstrates a track record of good judgment and discretion, and enjoys detail-oriented work. You’ll assist across multiple areas of People Operations, supporting the goals of the business through the success of its people.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting programs and processes across all touchpoints of the People Team
  • Assisting with employee check-ins throughout the company, with an emphasis on building employee engagement and helping the People Team maintain a pulse on the health of the organization
  • Collecting, processing, and analyzing data for employee-related programs
  • Partnering with senior People Ops leadership on key strategic initiatives 
  • Assisting with Benefits and Compensation Administration
  • Partnering with People Ops teammates and other Company stakeholders to ensure consistent best practices and optimal outcomes 
  • Providing a high level of trust and dependability with all Qualia team members 

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts, human resources management, psychology, or other related degree, and 3-5 years of Human Resources / People Operations experience OR a recently completed Masters degree focused on Human Resources plus one Human Resources related internship 
  • Strong understanding of basic Human Resources best practices and procedures
  • Preferably prior experience at a start-up or fast growing venture-backed tech company 
  • Understanding of and respect for the sensitivity of confidential information, and genuine respect for the contributions of many different types of personalities
  • Ability to demonstrate a keen sense of emotional intelligence and emotional resilience
  • Demonstrated good judgement and ability to seek help when solving difficult problems
  • Strong evidence of successful detail orientation
  • Ability to learn and use new systems and tools quickly
  • Ability to stay organized and produce quality work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to conduct research, and summarize and present findings in a concise manner
