Every Dropboxer plays a key role in helping us find and recruit amazing people, and our recruiting team leads the charge by coordinating these efforts. It’s no easy task to identify and attract the top talent in the world, but when you have the support of the entire company, it’s incredibly fun and rewarding. We’re looking for a world class Biz Recruiter to join our growing recruiting team. You will help build the pipeline of future Dropboxers, own hiring targets, and much more. If you’re a team player with an eye for talent who loves connecting people and opportunities, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, and hire Dropboxers for a wide range of roles across our business organizations
  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organizations to understand their hiring objectives and develop recruiting strategies to hit goals
  • Design and execute individualized full-cycle staffing plans for assigned hiring teams
  • Drive process efficiencies to scale hiring across US based offices
  • Create and execute unique and effective sourcing strategies and techniques to find and engage passive talent
  • Consistently generate a healthy pipeline of high quality candidates by driving initiatives like branding, events, sourcing, and referrals
  • Identify, prescreen, and evaluate both passive and active candidates at all levels
  • Bring candidates through the process and provide them with a positive experience

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally for Business Strategy, Customer Experience and/or highly technical orgs (in-house tech recruiting experience preferred)
  • Experience sourcing and closing profiles ranging from Junior to Management positions
  • Relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent
  • Demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness in solving problems throughout the recruiting process - from building pipeline to closing 
  • Ability to qualify a candidate and understand what each candidate brings to the table, as well as connect that candidate with the right opportunity at Dropbox
  • Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels
  • Exceptional teamwork and multi-tasking skills
  • Must thrive and prioritize in a constantly changing environment
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Additional Perks + Benefits

In order to be successful in our Virtual First environment we needed to make changes that would allow employees to have more control over both where and how they work. Therefore, we embrace “non-linear workdays” with defined core collaboration hours that overlap across time zones. Beyond that, we encourage employees to design their own schedules to balance collaboration with needs for individual focus. We’ve also moved from “all day syncs” to an “async by default” culture, reserving meetings for discussion, debate, and decision-making, and handling all other work in our deep focus hours.
