What is Spreetail

Spreetail is an ecommerce company that currently operates VMInnovations, a multi-marketplace retailer that sells thousands of awesome products through major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. Spreetail is currently in the middle of building something big, new, and exciting due to launch in 2019 with a simple mission: to make customers’ lives better through exceptionally fast service, great products, and community impact.

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Spreetail has recently expanded into two new offices based in Omaha, NE and Austin, TX with rapidly growing teams. We currently have hundreds of employees across the company, and are searching for crazy smart, talented, visionary people.

As a Sourcer on our Recruitment team you will be the owner of the most important portion of the recruitment life cycle, the identification and engagement of top talent. This role partners closely with our Recruitment team and partners in the business to develop sourcing strategies to identity and engage, the talent we need to hire now, and nurture into the future! We want team-members that understand the importance in building long lasting relationships with candidate experience being a top priority.

As a Sourcer, you will:

  • Build long term sourcing strategies to identify and nurture talent pools for all of major hiring profiles across the company 
  • Have the ability to use sourcing tools AND good ole fashioned boolean search strings to find top talent on the market 
  • Partner with recruiting partners and hiring teams to build effective sourcing strategies which target multiple candidate channels and assess candidates for fit and motivation 
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth screening of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer extend ratios. 
  • Interview and qualify potential candidates by digging in to ensure they fit Spreetail’s high bar for skills and culture fit 
  • Participate in sourcing projects/recruiting initiatives including, but not limited to, meet-ups; tech events; conferences, and hiring events. 
  • Use online resources and network within the sourcing community to keep up to date with all sourcing strategies, techniques, tools, events, etc. 

We look forward to learning more about your experience with:

  • 5+ years of sourcing or full life-cycle experience in both tech and non-tech roles 
  • Experience working in fast-paced corporate or agency environments that have an exceptionally high hiring bar 
  • Deep understanding of boolean logic and other creative ways to identify candidates that don’t want to be found, including their contact information 
  • Experience with HireTual or other sourcing platforms to help you source and manage a high volume of quality candidates 
  • Building recruitment email campaigns that required you to create candidate personas and build custom content geared at long term candidate engagement 
  • Data-oriented and excited to make data informed decisions to improve interview and recruiting process 
  • Passionate about candidate experience, and can show a plan to quantify and improve this every day
  • Strong Communication skills – both written and verbal.
