About the role:

LumApps is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help scale our growing teams across North America. Our ideal candidate is a self starter who thrives in an ever changing environment, is creative and innovative in sourcing/hiring strategies and is committed to providing a best in class experience to hiring teams and candidates alike. This individual will join a small team in our Austin, Texas office and will report directly to the US HR Manager.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Manage internal and external job postings, including our careers site, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc
  • Experience using innovative research & sourcing methods to hire for niche areas and ‘hard to fill’ roles
  • Develop innovative and creative recruitment strategies to identify active and passive candidate pipelines for current and/or future roles
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring teams
  • Have a sense of urgency when responding to candidates in order to move the best talent through the interview process quickly in a competitive market 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Act as an employee advocate while maintaining confidentiality and protecting the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a human resources role, with an emphasis on recruiting
  • Experience working with HRIS and ATS software
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Experience in the SaaS industry and/or startup company preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Location

Our office is located just outside downtown Austin on the corner of South 1st and Riverside. We're in a great location, within walking distance to a ton of great fitness clubs, restaurants and bars!
