What you'll do:

  • Helping further define and improve our full lifecycle recruiting processes with priorities on candidate experience and strong partnerships with hiring managers and teams
  • Source, evaluate, and support hiring across Invitae with a focus in technical (engineering, IT, etc.)
  • Partner with the recruiting function, hiring manager, and teams across the organization to define roles, measure and communicate progress, improve existing programs and develop innovative recruitment strategies
  • Develop relationships with candidates and give them a world-class candidate experience
  • Demonstrate knowledge and excitement about our business and be able to answer candidate and employee questions primarily around HR-related areas
  • Build healthy, robust pipelines of candidates on a continuous basis

What you bring:

  • Proven full lifecycle recruiting experience in a high-tech and/or biotech environment
  • Deep, technical sourcing experience
  • Corporate/in-house recruiting experience required; agency experience also preferred
  • Demonstrated experience delivering consistent, high quality recruiting results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passionate about candidate experience
  • Innovative, creative, and flexible approach - demonstrate the ability to seek out and identify talent in many different ways
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills and ability to perform under pressure
