Internship Overview:
The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers students an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of our fast-growing, multi-category, fashion lifestyle brand. We value all of our interns and commit to providing a comprehensive learning experience that aligns with individual interests and career goals.
Basics:
• 10-week, paid experience in Austin, TX
• Relocation assistance is not provided

Position Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity on the Marketing Team to support the rapid growth of our company and our department! Reporting to our Senior Content Writer, the Content Writing Intern will support the Content team in creating compelling, innovative copy that will engage our customers online, in stores, and on social media. We are looking for a strong writer and idea generator with a self-motivated attitude, who enjoys our enthusiastic, fast-paced and collaborative work style.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the creation of written content for the Ecommerce channel, including but not limited to e-blasts, homepages, blog posts, and SEO descriptions.
• Assist with the creation of content for the Graphic Design team to support marketing activations and materials.
• Conduct a content audit of the Kendra Scott website, provide recommendations
• Conduct a content audit of the Kendra Scott brand book, provide recommendations
• Implements plans to achieve departmental priorities
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• The ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm)
• Availability to work May 20- July 26, 2019. Consideration will be given for special life events with the exception of Internship Orientation (Monday, May 20th)
o Memorial Day & Fourth of July will be observed as company holidays
• Strong writing ability and understanding of AP writing style
• The ability to demonstrate strong leadership among peers and across the organization
