Internship Overview:
The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers students an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of our fast-growing, multi-category, fashion lifestyle brand. We value all of our interns and commit to providing a comprehensive learning experience that aligns with individual interests and career goals.
Basics:
• 10-week, paid experience in Austin, TX
• Relocation assistance is not provided

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Human Resources Specialist, the Human Resources Intern will gain insights into all facets of the employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to learning and development, and finally separation and offboarding. The Human Resources Intern will also help support the department through the implementation process of a new HRIS system. Kendra Scott is a fast-paced and quickly growing company. This role requires the ability to maintain a high level of internal customer service, while adapting to quickly changing priorities, a motivation to learn and take on projects, and superior organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Compensation and Benefits
• Assist with benchmarking pay in the field to identify areas of opportunity for compensation
• Organize and analyze feedback results from engagement surveys to help us continue to rank among most desirable places to work
• Efficiently send mail and compliance posters to new stores
• Lead the planning and execution of Kendra Scott’s annual Bring Your Kid To Work Day
Payroll
• Audit and clean-up data from payroll system in preparation of HRIS implementation
Employee Relations
• Shadow employee relations phone calls.
• Organize and analyze turnover data in the field
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• The ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm)
• Availability to work May 20- July 26, 2019. Consideration will be given for special life events, with the exception of Internship Orientation (Monday, May 20th)
o Memorial Day & Fourth of July will be observed as company holidays
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in order to keep up in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to demonstrate strong leadership among peers and across the organization
• A high level of accountability, reliability and initiative
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong ability to build relationship with co-workers and keep others informed
