We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Procurement Attorney to join our team in a newly created role within our growing legal department. We are looking for an experienced commercial procurement/contract attorney to play a lead role within Babylon assisting our procurement, supplier, and vendor-onboarding process from a legal perspective, as we expand within the US and around the world. In this position, you will lead negotiation efforts on contracts ranging from NDAs and software licensing agreements to marketing services. This role will grow to oversee not only US based contracts but UK based contracts as well.

This position could also be based in Austin (TX), Brooklyn (NY), San Francisco or San Diego (CA).

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Oversee the drafting, editing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers, vendors and similar counterparties, including purchases, licensing arrangements, and NDAs
• Collaborate closely with our procurement team, as well as other members of our legal, compliance, and privacy teams in both the US and UK

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Must have at least 5 years of practicing legal experience
• A minimum of 3 years in procurement contracts
• Must be licensed and in good standing
• Proven experience working in dynamic, ever changing environments, with the ability to quickly pivot
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to interact and present at a senior level 
• Ability to to thrive in deadline driven environments, with little supervision

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with technology contracts is strongly desirable 
• Familiarity with NY contract law
• Experience with negotiating UK contracts
• Background with contracts in the healthcare space
• Proven experience with data privacy issues
