Campaign Specialist

BigCommerce, named a 2021 “Best Place to Work” in Austin is searching for a Small Business Campaign Specialist to support demand generation campaigns and marketing efforts focused on new merchant acquisition. As a key member of the Small Business team, this person will be a team player who thrives in a fast paced and highly-collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a results- oriented marketer motivated to build new and creative demand generation programs that exceed goals and accelerate BigCommerce small business performance.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the development and ongoing management of compelling, end-to-end marketing campaigns that meet or exceed revenue goals
- Coordinate and support cross-functional campaign execution, including content, email, landing pages, digital assets, project plans and reporting views
- Support management of multiple campaigns and touch points at varying stages in the campaign process; ability to take the lead, but also able to work in a team environment
- Track campaign progress against timeline and goals.
- Track and analyze campaigns KPIs and use data to guide recommendations for improvement
- Support campaign performance reporting, including lead volume and conversion rates by channel to assess and optimize performance and update key stakeholders
- Engage hands-on with various marketing shared services including but not limited to Digital, Web, Content, Creative and Marketing automation teams to set up, deploy, analyze campaign activities and schedule/manage campaign meetings as needed
- Communicate, collaborate, and/or deliver ideas clearly to leadership, stakeholders and impacted teams
- Document and track initiatives using Jira keeping interested parties involved and accountable to deliver in timely manner as outlined in team SLAs
- Set tentative completion dates and identify dependencies
- Optimize campaign processes and identify improvements to meet specific strategic and ROI objectives of marketing programs
- Engage with sales regularly to gather feedback on campaign performance and improvement opportunities, as well as provide campaign visibility and training when needed
- Provide content writing support as necessary
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in marketing campaigns and lead generation
- Experience with Small Business B2B or B2C demand generation, marketing campaigns, digital marketing or email marketing
- Intellectual curiosity, responsibility, determination, creativity, flexibility and drive
- Eager, enthusiastic team-player
- A desire to solve problems on your own and within a team setting, along with a desire to learn from others and ask questions when needed
- Adaptable qualities, including learning on the fly and open to change
- Must be measurement-focused and results-driven across the full spectrum of campaign activities (digital marketing, email marketing, events, webinars, and advertising)
- Proven organizational and time management skills (ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments coupled with strong process orientation)
- Motivated self starter with ability to communicate effectively across organizations and influence initiatives
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Experience with content creation a plus (emails, blogs, landing pages, ads)
- Strong analytical and communication skills (ability to articulate objectives and processes/data needed to support them)
- Experience administering Hubspot, Marketo, or Eloqua or similar marketing automation systems strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
- Strong Excel skills a plus
