We need that rare talent who can work across many functions and balance the creative needs with the analytics of how it works.
The ideal person for this role is passionate about building and executing digital growth strategies. You will lead digital marketing initiatives across website lead forms and chat that are focused on crafting an effortless experience for the user and maximizing conversion. You are someone who gets excited about diving into the data, curious about user behavior or trends, using A/B testing to prove concepts and finding creative ways to optimize your programs. You will partner with many cross-functional groups across WP Engine to make these digital strategies a reality. Your success will require a strong understanding of our customer segments and how we engage with them in a meaningful way. You will have the chance to shape a highly visible area of WP Engine that directly impacts growth of the business.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate daily activities of our website forms and chat solution including the onsite experience, messaging and functionality
Optimize 'beyond the ad click’, following the potential buyer to the site and working them through the conversion funnel by collecting lead information, routing them to the next step, testing incentives, personalizing experiences and more to increase overall conversion rate
Institute a rigorous test and learn methodology for messaging, triggers, workflows, routing and more
Continuously observe chat performance across web properties to maximize overall revenue per visitor
Monitor, report and understand daily/weekly/monthly metrics to partners
Display an operational approach to understand and communicate how all of the integrations work with one another
Work cross-functionally with our sales and operational teams to partner on initiatives and reporting to drive growth
Maintain the relationship with our chat platform vendor and be the central point of contact for all requests
Operate with a growth mentality by always looking for opportunities to improve conversion opportunities and drive growth for the business
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
5+ years of growth marketing experience
Proven experience of improving business outcomes with chat or conversational technologies
Be able to design, execute and monitor program initiatives
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to take ownership of initiatives
Data-driven mindset and analytical skills to identify trends or flags to make digital optimization suggestions via testing
Demonstrates a highly collaborative personality and ability to work cross functionally
Possesses a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness
Proven track record in a fast-paced environment and ability to run multiple projects with a sense of urgency
Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written)
Experience with Google Analytics or other digital analytics tools
Familiar with testing tools such as Google Experiments, Google Optimize or Optimizely is preferred
Previous experience working in growth roles at other B2B / SaaS organizations is helpful, building pipeline and driving demand generation
Experience with subscription based business models and monthly/annual recurring revenue is preferred
Experience working with an agency or external vendors is preferred
Excellent organizational skills, including task management, knowledge of technologies such as Asana or Jira is a plus.
