WP Engine's Digital growth team is looking for a dynamic marketer who has experience with developing strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. We need that rare talent who can work across many functions and balance the creative needs with the analytics of how it works.
The ideal person for this role is passionate about building and executing digital growth strategies. You will lead digital marketing initiatives that are focused on creating an effortless experience for the user and improving conversions. You are someone who gets excited about diving into the data, curious about user behavior or trends, using A/B testing to prove concepts and finding creative ways to optimize your programs. You will partner with many cross-functional groups across WP Engine to make these digital strategies a reality. Your success will require a strong understanding of our customer segments and how we engage with them in a meaningful way. You will have the chance to craft a highly visible area of WP Engine that directly impacts growth of the business.
In this role, you will:
Lead daily activities of optimizing pages across all of our web properties including the experience, messaging and CTAs
Optimize 'beyond the ad click’, following the potential buyer to the site and working them through the conversion funnel by collecting lead information, routing them to the next step, testing incentives, personalizing experiences and more to increase overall conversion rate
Manage our CRO testing framework that utilizes stat sig testing from predetermined sample sizes, split traffic testing technology with control groups to determine success of the new experience, and reporting detailed readouts to the broader business around performance
Monitor, report and understand daily/weekly/monthly metrics to partners across the company
Work cross-functionally with our digital experience, website analytics and SEO teams to partner on initiatives and reporting to drive growth
Operate with a growth mentality by always looking for opportunities to improve conversion opportunities and drive growth for the business
Work closely with our paid media partners to optimize performance and messaging of our paid traffic
Drive revenue for the company by optimizing conversion rates for more users to transact online (eCommerce), connecting users to our sales team and merchandising our products
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
5+ years of digital marketing experience
Proven experience of improving business outcomes with conversion rate optimization
Be able to design, execute and monitor program initiatives
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to take ownership of initiatives
Data-driven approach and analytical skills to identify trends or flags to make digital optimization suggestions via testing
Demonstrates a highly collaborative personality and eagerness to work cross functionally
Possesses a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness
Proven track record in a fast-paced environment and ability to run multiple projects
Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written)
Experience with Google Analytics or other digital analytics tools
Familiar with testing tools such as Google Experiments, Google Optimize or Optimizely is preferred
Previous experience working in growth roles at other B2B / SaaS organizations is helpful, building pipeline and driving demand generation
Experience with subscription based business models and monthly/annual recurring revenue is preferred
Experience working with an agency or external vendors is preferred
Excellent organizational skills, including task management, knowledge of technologies such as Asana or Jira is a plus
