As a result, we are looking to add an Associate Systems Administrator to our IT team. If you are passionate about providing IT support and analysis to resolve technical problems related to operational, application and business systems, we want to talk to you!

As our ideal person for this role, you will have hands-on experience with management of network and wireless systems as well as management of directory/domain systems. You understand how to resolve technical issues in a timely, accurate manner. You emphasize proper documentation and providing training when required. In this role, you will help ensure the stable operation of applications and business systems that support day-to-day operations of the organization.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Provide IT support and resolve technical issues related to operational systems, application systems, business systems, and end user devices.
  • Respond, update, and maintain service desk tickets
  • Work closely with Systems Administrator(s) and Application Systems Administrator(s) with assigned taskwork.
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration and maintenance of hardware, software, systems, and services throughout the environment.
  • Manage and maintain server-side backups and updates.
  • Assist with procurement, inventory, and expense management.
  • Ensure and maintain enforcement of security policies and procedures across all IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain IT knowledge base documentation.
  • Assist in the maintenance of Active Directory users/groups, group policies, ADFS, and endpoint protection.
  • Manage routine daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly maintenance tasks
  • Respond to on-call outages based on outage type and on-call rotation.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the ITS department.

ABOUT YOU

  • 1+ year of help desk, information systems, or equivalent technical work experience.
  • Degree in IT-related field desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Windows Server, macOS, Unix, Linux, shell scripting, PowerShell, and VMware technologies.
  • Familiar with help desk management tools and workflows.
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce or similar customer relationship management tools and workflows.
  • Experience with management of network systems, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Knowledgeable of directory/domain systems management and related roles (DNS, DHCP, NPS, RADIUS, ADFS, PKI, et al.)
  • Familiar of networking and wireless systems, including Cisco ASA, Cisco IOS, Meraki, Fortinet, routing and switching concepts and VLAN management.
  • Basic knowledge of network management, cloud systems, endpoint security, patch management, backup management.
  • Understanding of ITIL Foundation concepts.
