POSITION SUMMARY
AdAction is looking for a talented Mobile Growth Leader to help us develop and execute our marketing strategy from the ground up for our new mobile app product. You'll be empowered to build go to market strategies, funnels and tracking systems from scratch. The successful candidate will hypothesize, prioritize and test innovative growth strategies and will know how to strategically use data to optimize funnel efficiency and help us grow in a scalable and sustainable way with a focus on acquisition, activation and retention. You will be expected to implement a system to clearly track and optimize conversion rates across all stages of our funnel as well as managing a budget for our paid channels.
This is a cross-functional role that will work closely with a range of departments and partners both internally and externally (in Product, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Customer Experience and Legal), solving diverse and challenging problems. This is the perfect role for a hungry, analytical team-player who wants to grow a nascent, but very high potential new business line from the ground up and is a technically savvy marketer who can set a long term vision for growing the AdAction customer base. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up growth tools and define success metrics, analyze performance, experiment, and iterate quickly.
- Devise strategy, build frameworks, structure solutions, and drive and measure results in the most critical areas of the business.
- Define and deliver a go to market plan across earned and paid channels.
- Optimize and own all acquisition channels, generate organic product-led growth within the entire user lifecycle, craft the strategy for new channel development.
- Develop and measure the performance of paid mobile user acquisition and retargeting campaigns across various advertising platforms including social ad networks, Google, programmatic display/video, affiliate partners and other AdAction inventory.
- Own the strategy development and execution of non-paid user acquisition, such as ASO and user referral programs
- Develop conversions metrics and make proposals to improve (Acquisition / Activation / Retention / Referral / Revenue)
- Lead the creation of paid ad creatives and other promotional content to support growth hacking activities including social media posts, blogs, other digital content and develop metrics to track user engagement.
- Own the Growth P&L responsibilities. You will be responsible for hitting the growth & product goals, managing your budget, and accurately forecasting.
- Provide actionable insights on competitor behavior and market trends that can be used by stakeholders across the organization
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to drive feature creation and adoption.
- Establish a successful growth marketing foundation with an ultimate goal of hiring, developing and leading a high performing team of growth marketers.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a focus in marketing, advertising, economics or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing and scaling new products, ideally with experience in a successful startup and/or with a mobile app product
- Demonstrated history managing user growth cycles and optimizing towards KPIs such as engagement, retention, ROAS and LTV.
- Hands-on experience running paid user acquisition to mobile apps
- Understanding of mobile attribution models and use of attribution software.
- Proven aptitude around discovery/design, execution, experimentation, and deep analysis; great attention to detail and can guide marketing infrastructure strategy, including tool selection, attribution, and analytics
- Strategic and tactical experience designing, building and executing scalable processes from scratch
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and performs well under pressure - adaptable, versatile, and detail-oriented
- Highly inquisitive with a background in solving complex problems and unlocking open space opportunities
- Strong bias towards action and effective decision-making skills
- A team player with the ability to manage up, down and across departments
