The Industry Relations Marketing Manager will be responsible for assisting with and executing communication strategies and tactics that solidify the value of realtor.com® to the industry, demonstrate thought leadership in digital real estate and fintech, and enhance and protect the company’s industry voice, image and reputation.
Reporting to the VP of Industry Relations Marketing, he or she will generate industry relations materials, content and strategies to achieve these objectives. The self-starting, initiative-taking marketing pro will own the execution of a multi-channel marketing and communications plan. Working remotely as a key player within the Industry Relations team the IR Marketing Manager will have a strong work ethic, be trustworthy and able to work well (self-managed) under deadline pressure with a broad range of responsibilities. This individual must also possess outstanding written and verbal skills In addition, they will support the rollout of new products and programs targeting our MLS, Association, Agent and Broker partners.
As a key member of the Industry Relations team, the successful candidate must be a creative and flexible thinker with the presence and poise to work effectively with the company's C-level officers as well as all other levels and functions of the organization.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Content Creation
- Create Assets and marketing solutions for our industry partners Assist with monthly campaigns for distribution of collateral and awareness of events and training webinars.
Internal Collaboration
- Assist with partnering with the heads of the various marketing channels, product, sales and customer care to ensure consistent messaging.
- Assist with Sales, Training and Events to solidify messaging and boost awareness of training, webinars and other offerings from the teams.
Social Media
- Relations Assist with Ensuring that social coverage or the Industry Relation Marketing team of Move Inc./realtor.com® and its products, programs and initiatives helps reinforce the company narrative.
- Craft engaging, relevant stories, pitches, and blog content.
- Have the ability to think visually and conceive of myriad ways to present and promote information, including the use of multimedia, infographics and interactive experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5-8 years of experience as a communications professional. 3+ years of experience with WordPress.
- Specific expertise in marketing communications in the real estate, tech, and financial industries.
- B2B/enterprise services and B2C experience.
- Versed in earned, owned, social and paid media strategies and tactics.
- Strong writing/editing skills. Imaginative use of earned, owned and social media channels to ensure messages are effective and engaging.
- Self-directed; able to identify, determine and recommend best courses of action to achieve desired results.
- Thinks strategically; anticipates future consequences and trends.
- Experience in creating and executing strategic communication plans.
- Adept at understanding technical information quickly and applying that information to create effective communications.
- Diplomatic; can maneuver through complex political situations effectively; is sensitive to how people and organizations function; anticipates landmines and plans approach accordingly.
- Thinks beyond communications and applies the same standards of judgment to other plans developing within the organization. Understands, evaluates and recommends courses of action through sound judgment.

Specific Responsibilities
- Develop B2B social strategy, content categories, and social calendar to deliver an optimal mix of content to support brand and business priorities.
- Work cross-functionally with Industry Relations, B2B marketing, Communications, and sales, to strategize and plan content development.
- Develop and create social-first content. Leverage existing content and repurpose.
- Publish social content across all B2B channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Youtube.
- Plan, schedule, moderate and manage promotional content for all Facebook Live sessions.
- Monitor daily posting for engagement.
- Respond to follower comments in a timely manner; actively chat through the brand’s voice with followers in a conversational tone.
- Spearhead performance reporting to provide context and insight to performance reports against pre-defined KPIs.
- Monitor top Facebook Groups Work with the Events team to drive paid social traffic to event registration pages Work with the industry marketing team to drive paid social traffic to the industry content hub.
- Assist the Industry Marketing team with industry sponsorship and partnership assets such as landing pages. ads, banners, email copy, social images, etc. (Adobe Suite experience or comparable)
- Assist with the Industry Blog, write blog content and manage influencer blogging program.
- Assist with event marketing collateral, working with Creative Services to manage the creation of invitations, agendas, flyers, and slide decks.
- Create and update email lists and load them into the email management system.
- Implement and send email newsletters.
- After each email marketing campaign, report on and analyze data from the campaign in order to identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Work cross-functionally to create and manage an event calendar for workshops, webinars, training sessions, coaching sessions, etc.
