As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, planning and optimizing marketing campaigns across our communications channels: email marketing, landing pages, SMS, push notifications and in-app messaging. The candidate must possess a balance of analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills, while being focused on producing and executing high quality digital campaigns. You will serve as the subject-matter expert on our communication tools and maintain the overall vision for how these tools compliment each other, and best achieve company goals.
You’ll work closely with key account managers and other cross functional internal teams to deliver activation, engagement, retention, and feature-based campaigns. The position will report to the Director of Product Marketing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage lifecycle marketing programs from concept through execution – building business requirements, key objectives, customer communications, and measuring campaign results
- Manage the prospect and customer database by creating targeted lists and segments and maintain list health
- Maintain master communications calendar and lead campaign planning process
- Act as subject matter expert and channel owner for email, SMS/push notifications, and in-app messaging tools, including maintaining relationships with 3rd party service providers
- Manage, collect and report digital marketing KPIs; present business updates, including analytics/KPIs, budgets and forecasting
- Create meaningful database segmentation so we can tailor campaign and program messages for targeted audiences across specific market segments
- Responsible for system/data integration to improve marketing automations and ensure their successful implementation with marketing technologies and data sources
- Partner with Insights/Analytics team to continuously analyze, personalize, and A/B test marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with all teams across Opcity, including the Sales organization, to identify how email can play an important role in their efforts
Experience & Skill Requirements:
- 5+ years marketing campaign management and optimization
- Deep expertise in email marketing and marketing automation tools, specifically proficient in Hubspot and Mailchimp
- Experience in SMS and mobile push notifications
- Familiarity with in-app messaging tools - hands-on experience preferred, but can be substituted with demonstrated experience learning new platforms
- Excellent writing skills, especially copywriting for the B2B audience
- Ability to handle and analyze data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Google Analytics
- Agency experience a plus
- HTML and Photoshop experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to execute successful projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and requests
