We are looking for an incredibly smart, inquisitive and high energy Marketing Analyst to join our team, reporting to the Director of Marketing Strategy and Analytics, Home Services. In this role, you will develop data-driven insights that enable QuinStreet’s Marketing and Media teams maximize profitability while helping our clients to meet and exceed their KPIs for marketing campaigns. You will be concentrating on supporting the growth of our Home Services vertical and building Modernize as a trustable brand to homeowners. This role will use statistical methods to extract valuable insights from our data that grow the product and ROI for clients. You will be working closely with Marketing, Client, Sales and Dev teams to support their analytic needs.  This is a highly visible role within the company, which will come with direct interaction with Director and above roles, having an opportunity to create a strong impact to the business. 

Responsibilities:

• Reporting and Visualization - Create Tableau dashboard views to help identify performance and business trends.
• Know our Audience – Trace homeowners’ customer journey and identify key drivers to homeowners’ engagement and conversions.
• Forecasting – Develop predictive model for media buying and product pricing.
• Data Diagnostics – Identify red flag and opportunities from various internal and external datasets.
• Campaign Management – Develop and execute marketing strategies and data-driven insights to drive performance and maximize ROI
• Strategy Making – Develop and communicate insights around campaign performance to internal teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative major like Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related
• 1-2 years of experience in an analytical role is required
• Passion for a building a brand name that homeowners trust
• Inquisitive mindset that is willing to challenge status quo and various stakeholders
• Ability to digest disparate datasets and visualize key trends or takeaways from raw datasets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize key takeaways and present data-proven results
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills including abnormality detection, predictive analysis, market segmentation, and competitive analysis.
• Must have experience with Excel, pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Experience in using SQL and creating visualization solutions with enterprise datasets is required
• Experience in R, Python, and Tableau is a plus
