Marketing Analytics Manager, DocSend
Role Description
This role will join the Dropbox DocSend Marketing Team to own execution of marketing analytics. DocSend was acquired by Dropbox in 2021; you’ll be joining the company at a key time to work on marketing analytics efforts that will set us up for long-term success.
As a Marketing Analyst, you support the marketing team — supporting reporting and experimentation work across the wide range of touch points including paid media, lifecycle marketing, and email. We’ll look to you to work with Dropboxers across marketing, data engineering, data science, financial planning, and IT systems to produce insights from DocSend’s complex data environment and drive impact for DocSend. In turn, you will be a key thought partner in making strategic data-driven decisions about marketing. Join us to lead long-term, lasting impact for an exciting part of Dropbox’s business.
Responsibilities
- Act as an embedded analytics partner for the marketing team
- Ensure your numbers are air-tight by performing individual quality control, checking with relevant data owners, and cross-referencing findings against secondary sources
- Support and drive interpretation, socialization and adoption of operational marketing reports
- Extract insights on behavior of audience segments acquired through campaign data using analytics tools, data platforms, and internal databases
- Surface analytical insights: proactively investigate root causes of aberrant data, and identify opportunities for optimization
- Support design and implementation of experimentation necessary to improve channel efficiency, drive growth, and inform marketing investment decisions
- Proficient in campaign reporting through all stages of the sales funnel from response to lead to pipeline and closed/won business
- Exceptionally strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills
- Optimize the demand gen machine including; Hubspot/Marketo, Google Analytics, integration with Salesforce.com, evaluating lead-scoring criteria and overall lead gen program effectiveness
- Update weekly marketing reports across channels and provide insight on performance against KPIs
- Measure success of campaigns, and manage retrospectives to promote continuous improvement
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, testing/validation requirements and project tasks
Requirements
- 4+ years experience with complex data analysis, visualization, and dashboards as part of full-time work, college coursework, personal projects, internships, or research
- Good experience writing SQL queries
- Experience with Tableau
- Advanced Excel user
- Able to create reporting tools and derive insights out of data
- Collaborative, self-starter, continuous learner who enjoys problem solving and solutioning
- Strong communication skills both written and oral. Ability to articulate complex subjects in understandable terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders a huge plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
- Able to proactively engage with business stakeholders
- Knowledge and interest in marketing tactics, including campaigns and marketing channels such as field marketing, SEM, Display, and Email
- Knowledge of probability and statistics. Applied experience in experimentation design, A/B testing and/or probabilistic modeling a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Business, or related discipline
Bonuses:

For candidates hired in Colorado, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is $101,200- $119,100 - $137,000.
This salary/OTE range represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary or OTE (Sales roles) range for this position, and is subject to change. To determine a Dropboxer’s starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. This position may be considered a promotional opportunity.
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
