The Marketing Operations – Data & Technology Manager is responsible for all new and existing Marketing systems, processes and data. This role is highly technical and strategic in nature, this individual will work closely with teams and individuals across the Marketing department, Sales Ops, and IT to ensure we have a strong infrastructure to scale and optimize, recommending and implementing additional systems and processes as needed. The ideal candidate must be project, detail and data oriented with a highly inquisitive mind. Responsibilities

  • Manage technology selection process; integration within the full stack, and optimization
  • Ensure we have clearly defined criteria for success and ROI for each technology we use
  • Provide insights on business success via trend analyses and deep dives into Lead, Contact, Account, and Opportunity data as need on an ongoing basis
  • Develop scalable processes and automations for reporting efficiency improvement
  • Support broader marketing team with troubleshooting, data validation and insight consulting as needed
  • Audit utilization and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot issues, work closely with Sales Ops and IT to identify and correct points of failure
  • Manage vendor contracts, billing and PS utilization
  • Ongoing maintenance and management of systems and databases
  • Provide governance / compliance recommendations and support
  • Implement projects to augment data as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 4+ years of technical experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including Sales & Marketing leadership
  • Proficient in Marketing metrics, KPI’s, database segmentation, and deriving insights from data
  • Experience with Marketing and Sales technologies, including CRM (Salesforce.com advanced reporting/dashboards preferred), Marketing Automation (Eloqua Masters preferred), Analytics/BI (Domo/Tableau preferred) and other web-based technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables/reporting, etc.)
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Python, etc. – some or all, is a plus
