Media Buyer (Facebook/Youtube/Google Ads)

SamCart is looking for an exceptional Media Buyer (Facebook/Youtube/Google Ads) to join our team. We’re a company founded and run by expert marketers. Our paid media strategy is one of our greatest representations of our expertise and knowledge that we share with our customers.
For this role, we’re searching for someone who can 1) manage paid media campaigns that spend close to $1M per month, 2) maintain current ROAS target, and 3) identify new audiences or channels that allow us to scale spend.
Requirements
Ideal candidates should have the following:
- 4+ years of paid advertising experience, including expert-level experience using Facebook Ads
- Experience managing multiple campaigns within an account with budgets of $500,000/month or higher
- Strong background in direct response advertising with an emphasis on conversion optimization
- Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items; while effectively managing changing priorities.
- Excellent writing and creative content skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Innovative thinker and collaborative team player.
- Curiosity and drive to test new concepts and ad platforms.
- Experience leveraging Hubspot + SFDC data for ads tracking a plus
- This role is based in either Austin, TX, or DC/Maryland. Relocation at your own cost, post-Covid, will be expected.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily tracking and pulse updates to the team
- Owner of our ads management playbook: you will determine when to refresh ads, test new creative/targeting, etc and set the standard for future management.
- Continually observe ad performance and adjust or refresh copy, content, and media as needed. (You will have access to our Creative Services team to deliver on this task)
- Prioritize a healthy testing schedule for creatives, targeting, bidding, and budgeting strategies.
- Diligently track and document test results and learnings for future campaigns.
- Consistently cut the bottom 50% of lower performing ads/groups weekly (until you reach a positive blended ROI)
- Keep a regularly updated customer persona document
- Run weekly funnel and/or landing page experiments aimed at increasing EPC
- Segment data/audiences by recency, frequency, and monetary milestones
- Maintain a well-structured account with strict naming conventions
- Keep us on the leading edge of paid media strategy and execution
