POSITION SUMMARY
AdAction is seeking a creative and resourceful Media Strategist to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be an independent thinker with an insatiable desire to understand the mobile media landscape and how it relates to AdAction's media monetization and optimization strategy. In this role, the Media Strategist will work autonomously to complete tasks assigned to them while also creating media plans to proactively drive business utilizing data and analytics. The Media Strategist should also be a confident communicator, detail oriented, nimble and excited to make an impact on the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and oversee the daily strategy and outcomes for assigned campaigns to ensure success for our clients.
- Monitor all activities, proactively addressing underperforming offers and collaborate with internal teams to drive solutions, as needed.
- Design media plans that align with client objectives and KPIs, while striving for long term profit growth for AdAction.
- Work cross functionally across AdAction to proactively address and solve issues of unclear, inefficient, or missing reporting.
- Always be innovating. Take a leading role in the development, testing and positioning of new Media products and features.
- Work with the Media team to ensure optimal campaign setup and monitor campaigns for quality assurance.
- Utilize data to uncover insights that lead to meaningful campaign optimizations.
- Train and mentor more junior team members through task delegation and providing support, continuously sharing knowledge across the entire Media team.
- Successfully manage 3rd party publisher relationships to ensure growth in partnerships and improvements of media products.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience in media strategy with an understanding of performance marketing principles and campaign optimization)
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising communications, or related field preferred
- Effective communicator who thrives in a team environment
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Experience across all aspects of a digital campaign, from planning to buying to executing and managing
- Must be highly organized and possess the ability to prioritize work on an ongoing basis
- Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop and refine processes
