About the Role

Ideally, we are seeking a customer minded Product Marketing Director with 3+ years of experience in Product Marketing.

This Product Marketing role will focus on Brightpearl’s flagship SaaS platform and associated products and sit within the global product marketing team. You will be responsible for a broad range of global go-to-market activities across all areas of product development, messaging, campaign creation and positioning. You’ll be able to efficiently plan, implement and manage our product marketing strategy to achieve our growth plans.

This role is critical for acting as a cross functional leader with responsibilities in sales enablement, customer segmentation and product launches across the company. Your contribution to the definition of new product strategy, management of voice of the customer activities, spotting industry trends and helping to translate all of those into clear messages through our PR and external comms channels will ensure that Brightpearl continues to offer and articulate market leading solutions.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Define product value proposition that speaks to our target audience and sets our products apart from our competitors.
  • Work closely with customer, product and sales teams to obtain deep insights on our buyer personas and identify untapped opportunities .
  • Communicate the vision and value of our products and services to the sales teams.
  • Develop sales tools such as battle cards, software evaluation checklists, ROI calculators to facilitate the selling process.
  • Translate the technical product features/language into clear and compelling messaging that resonates with our customers and prospects. Create content such as sales collateral, webinars, website copy, product videos to articulate brand messaging internally and externally.
  • Be customer-focused. Engage customers by demonstrating the value of our products and services through different mediums, such as product roadmap updates, product webinars, customer workshops/conferences etc.
  • Be plugged in to retail/Ecommerce and wider tech industry trends; gather competitive and market intelligence and implement those findings into future development and marketing strategies.
  • Build and implement product launch GTM plans. Support launches by creating product collaterals and sales enablement content to support marketing campaigns and partner campaigns.
  • Provide input and be a key partner to the product management team as they develop and optimize the product roadmap.
  • Use market insights to run targeted marketing campaigns that help in demand generation, brand awareness or customer engagement.

Requirements

About You

  • 3+ years experience in product marketing and/or product management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Need to share a strong portfolio of product marketing content (e.g., sales collateral, blog posts, product videos, public speaking events etc.).
  • Strong cross functional leadership experience with examples of working effectively with product, sales, and support/customer success.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to evaluate the performance of product marketing activities.
  • Experience performing market research and building competitive analysis.
  • Past experience with marketing automation solutions such as Hubspot and CRM such as SalesForce.com.
  • Comfortable with technology and the ability to articulate the business value delivered by technology solutions in a way that resonates with our customer base.
  • Great eye for customer and market dynamics.
  • Must be adaptable, flexible and proactive, as well being able to work cross-functionallyPassion for sales and marketing andHungry to develop your career Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
  • Able to input into a multifunctional team; not afraid to question and offer alternatives.
  • Experience within SaaS, Enterprise market would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the retail and or wholesale market would be a significant advantage.
