Product Marketing Manager - Cybersecurity
What You’ll Do
You will join a team shaping the future of cybersecurity. Cisco has the broadest portfolio of security products and services in the world. Using our platform approach, they work together to tackle customer problems faster, and they are integrated with our networking portfolio to drive security into the fabric of our customers’ environment. We are looking for smart, fast, creative product marketers to help communicate the outcomes and benefits of our security policy and access technologies built in, not bolted on, with the network. With a bias towards action, you will act as an evangelist for cybersecurity within Cisco, enabling over 17,000 account manager sellers, partners and fellow marketers to amplify these security benefits. You will be the voice of the customer inside Cisco, creating simple visual assets (e.g. presentations, videos, infographics) and other deliverables to communicate the stories.
Who You'll Work With
You will lead efforts to help customers address one of their biggest security challenges: complexity. Joining a product team whose sole mission is to make security easier for customers to consume and easier to understand. You will oversee the product marketing for our Cloud Analytics business where you will be providing a deep understanding of end users needs, drive go-to-market activities, messaging and positioning. You will maintain a collaborative working relationship with sales, strategy and operations and peer product marketing managers.
Who You Are
An experienced Product Marketing Manager with security knowledge who relishes a challenge.
In this role, you will:
- Draw on your experience supporting a fast-paced SaaS business
- Easily translate technology concepts into business benefits
- Engage customers, partners and sellers through compelling storytelling
- Develop compelling messaging and content for your product
- Deliver effective sales and partner enablement content and training
- Understand security concepts such as Network Detection and Response and Extended Detection and response (XDR)
- Collaborate with remote and geographically dispersed teams
- Drive to think strategically, with an appetite for tactical execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative writing and illustration skills that are engaging, entertaining and detailed
- Experience working directly with analysts, customers, and partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 5-7 years experience in security marketing
