About the Position

The Product Marketing Specialist will be a part of an agile marketing team at Membersy and will be responsible for the team’s strategy around member-facing communication, customer retention efforts, and product-specific marketing campaigns and messaging.

As a Product Marketing Specialist at Membersy, you will:

• Create and execute on a marketing plan to retain, increase, and engage current customer base
• Responsible for email, text, and print marketing efforts that drive member/customer retention (B2C)
• Act as a liaison between marketing and product teams, identifying opportunities for product-driven marketing campaigns
• Work with the product team to communicate with current customers on the latest product releases and feature enhancements of the product offering
• Ability to identify target audiences and effectively communicate value through product positioning and strong copywriting.
• Drive and monitor A/B and multivariate experiments to optimize key performance metrics; Analyze findings, present recommendations and scale as necessary
• Effectively take technical information and drill it down into digestible information for customers.
• Work with Partner Success and Sales Teams to generate collateral that assists with customer retention, training, and onboarding.
• Maintain competitor intel collateral on an ongoing basis and identify marketing messages that position us for success over our competition
• Work with Art Director to ensure that all messaging adheres to Membersy’s brand and style guidelines

What we are looking for in a highly qualified candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
• 1-3 years experience with product marketing functions including customer-facing communication, content marketing, email marketing, and brand positioning
• Skilled at writing and copy editing, including writing in different voices and styles, for a variety of personas
• Experience with Iterable and Hubspot is a plus
• Experience with design tools, such as Canva, is a plus
• Must reside in the great Austin metro area
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the US without employer sponsorship
