We’re looking for a skilled SEO Manager with experience in e-commerce SEO. This role is a hybrid of art and science, combining understanding of the ever-changing organic landscape with the technical skills required to execute. Our new Manager, SEO will assist in managing the full lifecycle of our client’s multi-million-dollar business and contribute to team leadership. This is an integral position within a high-performance, fast-paced team, and will require full Search Engine Optimization knowledge and technical abilities. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, curious, analytical, with strong written and verbal communication skills. 


The SEO Manager is responsible for strategizing, devising, and executing SEO campaigns to facilitate the success of clients’ online marketing campaigns, including organic search, content marketing, and conversion optimization. The SEO Manager will be responsible for planning and executing SEO campaigns. The SEO Manager we seek builds strong relationships and establishes clear, concise communication with clients, partners, and internal team members. Our ideal SEO Manager should be data-driven & a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy/Management/Exposure 
  • Plan, define, develop and execute SEO strategy, roadmap and KPIs across diverse verticals of clients – Beauty, Fashion, Finance, Healthcare, Non-Profit etc. 
  • Partner with team to learn and adopt new auditing techniques, processes to align with trends and impact SEO KPIs 
  • Partner with client product, marketing and engineering stakeholders to identify opportunities and size potential benefits of new growth initiatives for our clients 
  • Partner with our Data/BI teams to launch dashboards and workflow tools that help track SEO KPI’s 
  • Possess a complete understanding of the current and ever-changing organic landscape focusing on best practices, website architecture, mobile search, mobile technologies, Core Web Vitals with a strong grasp of content marketing. 

  • Analysis / Reporting / Deliverables 
  • Monitor, analyze and report on various sources – Client vs. competitive set - including but not limited to Google Analytics, SearchMetrics, Botify, Conductor, BrightEdge, SEMRush, Screaming Frog and various other SEO tools. 
  • Present (via phone, video or in person) SEO deliverables on weekly/monthly KPI reports. 
  • Participate in and present quarterly business reports including travel to client offices. 

  • Management & Thought Leadership 
  • Complete Campaign management with constant view for further growth, optimization opportunities and new techniques. 
  • Assists in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group 
  • Partner with SEO leadership to train, devlope and mentor early career professionals and junior resource. 

Experience:

  • 4+ years of search engine optimization and 2+ years of account management experience. 
  • Deep experience working in Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics. 
  • Strong understanding of core SEO practices including keyword research methodology and link building.
  • Experience working in SEO tools such as SearchMetrics, Botify, SEMRush and SimilarWeb 
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash and other rich media technologies 
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel are a must (Vlookups, pivot tables, Macros (preferred not required) 
  • Comfortable liaising with senior level stakeholders. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and execution against tight timelines. 

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in a people management role, ideally within a Digital Marketing team 
  • General knowledge of e-commerce platforms and usability principals
  • Experience working in an agency environment.

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
