About the Team

The Marketing Team’s primary responsibilities are to communicate the value of the Subsplash platform to the world—managing all outward-facing communications, leading demand generation efforts, creating go-to-market product strategies, facilitating brand management/identity, and more. We create beautiful and effective email campaigns, social media strategies, website content, product identities, videos, and more. We identify prospects and nurture them into quality leads for our sales team. For existing clients, we help them understand and engage with our products and new features. We have fun moving projects from concept to reality, and discovering what works well to help Subsplash and our clients succeed.

About the Role

As the Senior Demand Generation Manager, you will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing. You will be responsible for leading the demand generation function and discipline on the Marketing Team, including the management of the Demand Generation Specialist role. You possess strong leadership and management skills and have a track record of developing others to realize broader unified goals. You will oversee maximizing conversions and exploring new and innovative avenues to acquire leads. You will be highly involved with multiple stages of the prospect life-cycle and demand generation funnel to help cultivate high quality MQLs for our sales team. You will play a critical role in ongoing performance reporting, analysis, projections, and recommendations for improving the quality and quantity of leads and conversion rates via testing, optimization, and measuring various key performance indicators based on numerous sources of data. You have a high degree of understanding for current SEO/SEM strategies, and digital marketing as well as on-page lead conversion strategies and tactics. You will use your expertise to support the company and broader Marketing Team in executing and measuring various digital initiatives with other Marketing Team leaders. In addition, you will oversee the annual paid advertising budget and programs, while having an opportunity to expand your skill set to other marketing tactics (e.g. email, events, online merchandising, etc). 


Your Priorities

  • Oversee and manage SEO/SEM strategies and tactics that drive an increase in high quality organic traffic and leads. You are the SEO/SEM expert advising the Marketing team and company on best practices
  • Plan and manage paid channels, including search, display, social, etc. to cost-effectively reach our target customer and fill our funnel with leads
  • Oversee and manage annual paid advertising budget
  • Track, analyze and report on full funnel metrics, campaign performance and ROI from marketing investments in demand generation
  • Be the expert on metrics such as: conversion rate, acquisition costs, cost per lead, user engagement, time-on-site, click through rate, etc. and offer actionable feedback based on data
  • Leverage our data warehouse to identify customer segments that lead to marketing opportunities to nurture existing prospects
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with Marketing, Product, Business Development to develop strategies to meet and exceed the company goals
  • Lead initiatives to improve processes and productivity which enable the team to scale and grow with quality and efficiency
  • Monitor demand generation industry trends to stay up to speed and innovative 
  • Work with the entire Marketing team to plan, test, analyze, execute and optimize campaigns to maximize leads and revenue
  • Own establishing creative and innovative strategies to generate new leads on an ongoing basis 
  • Lead additional Demand Generation experts on the Marketing team towards a unified strategy 
  • Manage the funnel performance of all Subsplash business units


Qualifications

  • Passionate about our products and how they can serve churches, ministries, and nonprofits.
  • 5-7+ years of demand generation in B2B SaaS marketing with a proven track record of driving growth 
  • Highly skilled with Salesforce, Pardot, and Tableau
  • Skilled in HTML and CSS 
  • Expert in end-to-end campaign development, execution, and measurement
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, advertising or a related field
  • Models humility, innovation, and a drive for excellence
  • Experience with analytic tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to problem solve 
  • Experience leading teams and people 
  • Proven ability to display positive adaptability in a scaling organization  
  • Demonstrated aptitude for managing multiple projects and priorities at once
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Experience with segmentation and targeted marketing in order to build a deep understanding of the target buyer and their needs; plan, execute, and measure campaigns that effectively reach them
  • Experience managing multiple business units as well as M&A process and strategies associated with demand generation
  • Highly proficient with Squarespace, WordPress, or comparable website CMS’
  • Experience developing marketing content and copy, including excellent copy editing skills
