Role: Administrative Assistant, Claims

Location:  Austin, TX

About You

  • You bring a positive, problem solving energy to the office with strong organizational abilities and time management skills. 
  • You’re an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. 
  • You take pride in performing your role with precision and accuracy; and possess the ability and enjoy the opportunity to exercise critical thinking, problem solving and solid judgment. 
  • You are self-motivated, work well independently and as a member of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Claims and Claims Concierge teams, including updating internal claims database, running reports, generating checks, monitoring email and completing administrative tasks to expedite the claims process in a very fast paced environment.
  • Communicate with vendors to provide claim information and referrals.
  • Work with Property Adjusters, Claims Concierge and Management on special projects as required.

Required experience.

  • 2+ years exceptional administrative skills are required, preferably in an insurance industry, customer service or other like position.
  • Proven track record of strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient data entry skills
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to use Excel, standard word-processing programs and automated systems is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
