JOB TITLE: Business Operations Manager

ScaleFactor conquers the most tedious and complex financial operations needs, so business owners can focus on running their businesses successfully.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role reports directly to the Director of Finance, with the primary responsibility of achieving excellence through the analysis and implementation of adaptably consistent business processes
  • Augmentation of current technological solutions that result in business transformation
  • Study business functions to determine operational objectives; gather information to evaluate output requirements and formats
  • Study current practices and design modifications
  • Design new tech stack programs by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing specifications
  • Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
  • Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project teams; establishing project budgets
  • Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions
  • Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures
  • Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users
  • Protect business operations by keeping information confidential and serving as an accountability agent to various process measures
  • Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Life-long learning habits in and out of the workplace
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of business operations management experience at a company well known for its rigorous use of business operations and OpEx methodology 
  • Excellent technical proficiency in Salesforce.com and other technologies used to automate the modern sale and post-sale environment (InsightSquared, Tableau, Xactly, etc.)
  • Excellent executive-level communication consistent with frequent executive interactions with the executive team
  • Bachelor's degree with 3.0+ GPA

  • SaaS company experience + start-up experience
  • MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
