This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is located in Austin, TX.

Success will be judged on positive and complete outcomes, which will require cross-functional coordination of resources and priorities.

Responsibilities

Customer Operations
o Ownership of the Customer Operations functions and systems, which include Salesforce, Mavenlink, ZenDesk.
o Analyze existing processes to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.
o Define, plan, and manage process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency across client operations.
o Oversee the sales operations function, including forecasting and collaboration on compensation planning, territory design, org design, and business planning.
M&A
o Assist with coordination and project management of due diligence activities related to considered and planned acquisitions
o Provide project management and governance oversight for the cross-functional integration activities related to acquisitions for the company, to drive successful integration within aggressive timelines
Strategic Projects
o Lead cross-functional, high-impact projects as directed by the COO
o Identify opportunities to grow revenue and retention of our customer base
o Prepare business cases as needed
o Plan, manage, and execute various strategic projects for the Customer Operations functional areas
Leadership
o Manage and develop a high performing sales operations team
o Manage dotted-line relationships effectively and efficiently
o Reinforce a collaborative, results-oriented, high-performance culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or finance required; MBA preferred
• 7-10 years’ operations experience in B2B software
• Strong organizational and project management abilities with high attention to detail
• Ability to lead through influence and drive successful projects with resources outside of your span of control
• Demonstrated competency with implementing business processes and activity-based metrics involving leading success indicators
• Experience managing and leading teams, both directly and in matrixed environments
• Demonstrated business and financial acumen – understanding business cases, ROI, financial modeling, and commercial negotiation
• Robust analytical and quantitative skills, as well as attention to detail
• Resilient in the face of competing demands and conflicts
• Demonstrated success in a high pressure, dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Position is full-time and located in Austin, TX
• Low-to-moderate travel required
