Director, Corporate Information Technology
The Role:
As AlertMedia’s Director, Corporate Information Technology, you will set the IT strategy for our fast-growing SaaS company as we scale, expand our remote workforce, and add additional offices. You will manage internal IT support, deploy scalable, secure, and efficient solutions across our on-site and cloud-based environment using the latest tools and technology. You will focus on high-level challenges and opportunities, with the ability to manage and optimize our tech, infrastructure, and application stack in our fast-growing SaaS environment. You will work in our Austin, TX offices & report directly to our CTO.

What you will do:
- Manage daily operations of IT team, analyze workflow, establish priorities, develop standards, and set deliverable timelines
- Maintain and monitor on-premise and cloud applications and infrastructure supporting our growing base of employees.
- Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
- Work with management to budget for, design and deploy solutions for the business
- Purchase software and hardware to optimize the IT environment
- Stay abreast of advances in technology
- Maintain servers, backups, and other infrastructure environments
Requirements:
- 10 years Information Technology experience
- 3 years or more experience in a management role in IT
- Strong organizational planning and development, business judgment, and technical leadership
- Proven knowledge of, and experience with, IT infrastructure technologies, including server, desktop, storage, data center & networking
- Broad range of networking engineering/architecture experience and skills, paired with the ability to understand project requirements and implement high-performance, highly-available, cost-effective solutions
- Experience with tools and strategies for managing Windows, MacOS, and Linux laptops
- Experience with Azure AD, Office365, On-prem Active Directory, and hybrid environments.
- MCSE, CCNA, ACSA and/or equivalent certifications preferred
- Experience with Information Security compliance, such as SOC or ISO27001 (a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be located in the Austin, TX area or willing to relocate
