Position Summary
EveryAction is seeking a Director of Solutions Architecture with a track record of success to join our pre-sales department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to evangelize our products to potential customers and existing customers, designing technical solutions that addresses customer needs for complex business problems. The Director of Solutions Architecture will lead a cross-functional team working from pre-sales through onboarding alongside our advanced technical delivery teams delivering the best in class solution highlighting EveryAction experience and knowledge in the philanthropic sector. The Director of Solutions Architecture is a respected thought leader known for both industry and product expertise.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in pre-sales in SaaS software ideally in web development with an understanding of technical capabilities and integrations. You should be confident illustrating your ideas in written, verbal and visual forms.
Responsibilities & Requirements
What You'll Do:

  • Work cross-functionally with sales teams to position success paths for our prospects and customers for EveryAction product and technical solutions.
  • Proactively scope and design the technical and business solution needed to address customer requirements.
  • Experience running discovery workshops with customers and understanding challenges and business needs.
  • Develop customized presentations, demonstrations and prototypes to prove a solution's business value to C level customers.
  • Comfortable managing multiple concurrent opportunities and delivering on time
  • Responsible for mentoring and training team members, demonstrating a strategic mindset and dedicating yourself to growth, development, and guidance of your team
  • Support the team as the technical voice of the customer, enabling systems that allow for providing timely, well documented and insightful input back to engineering and product management teams to ensure we're meeting the needs of a very dynamic market
  • Maintain and iterate on team onboarding and ongoing training to develop and maintain expertise in all of EveryAction's platform offerings and net new feature deployments

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years' experience presenting software solutions
  • Experience with a web-based SaaS platform
  • Understanding of web standards and integration methodologies
  • Proven experience in presenting to C-level executives
  • Previous experience successfully partnering with cross-functional team leads including Client Services, Sales, Support, Product and Engineering
  • Ability to travel up to 50%


Education
Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
