Dropoff is looking for a Dispatcher. This position is based in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll facilitate same day deliveries in multiple markets.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch deliveries in assigned markets using Dropoff’s proprietary technology platform, creating efficient routes given driver schedules, customer needs, and service level agreements.
- Work in close communication and coordination with Customer Service Representatives, reacting to changing customer needs, and proactively communicating ETAs to customers.
- Achieve on time delivery standards in all markets, contributing new ideas and solutions for continuous improvement of on time delivery.
- Report driver performance feedback to Field Operations staff for recognition and necessary corrective action.
- Help facilitate the development on our Automated Dispatch System through using the system to its full potential, efficient communication and immediate feedback.
- Learn assigned market(s) ensuring a full comprehensive knowledge of clients, drivers and needs.
- Be available through shift changes as needed including early and late shifts, including weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong Communication & Technical skills
- Responsible, dependable, quick learner
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology
- Demonstrated ability to run operationally efficient projects and teams
Preferred Qualifications
- A true passion for logistics and the execution of a rigorous business practices
- Experience using Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and Zen Desk
