Job Summary:


We're looking for a results-driven eCommerce Site Merchandiser to join our Marketing as a Service team that can operationally manage responsibilities that span across all aspects of e-Commerce, ensuring consistent brand equity, building upon being relevant across each consumer segment through advertising (creative, media), and a connected consumer experience digitally with a mobile first mindset.


You will work with both our internal org and client team members to ensure seamless execution of key initiatives and tactics that have associated KPIs. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at a time, and support the Cart.com leadership team in ensuring that these projects meet or exceed internal team and client expectations and are delivered on-time. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for optimizing the digital shopping experience for site engagement, conversion, and profitability 
  • Daily management of product catalog and product feed with AmeriCommerce Platform 
  • Develop promotional and seasonal content as needed
  • Responsible for managing sell-through of products/kits/bundles to achieve sales and inventory forecasts 
  • Ensure sites are fully optimized for SEO, and Merchant feeds are unique for site experience 
  • Maintain awareness of competitive benchmarks, best practices, market trends, and competitive activity. 
  • Work with UX/UI team to assist with testing plans/ cadence to optimize sites and customer journey

Experience

  • 2 Years in eCOM/DTC Digital Merchandising experience. Diverse experience across eCommerce sites with managing multiple departments (ex; men's, women's) that have multiple skus (patterns, colors, sizes) 
  • 1 years of Experience in working with SAAS solutions (GSI, Demandware, Shopify) desired. Open source solutions are good (drupal, magento, wordpress) 
  • Experience managing a complex website consisting of a catalog of at least 500 products with multiple categories and subcategories 
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint. Analytically Minded (data driven #/$), advanced scores on excel testing (pivot tables, data tables/queries, advanced charting, etc.) 
  • Conceptual understanding of the underlying technology used to deliver ecommerce experiences; understanding of product data, data structures, and data management 
  • Working knowledge of UX / Design best practices and the ability to use data / heatmaps to improve on site U/X 
  • Exposure to and involvement with media and marketing planning. Ability to implement such strategies across various aspects (internal teams, external teams, vendors, etc.). 
  • 10-15% domestic travel may be required

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
