The Role
A Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for managing the fulfillment process, including handling vendor orders and interactions, managing all shipping and receiving needs, facilitating quality assurance, and maintaining appropriate inventory for fulfillment needs. Individuals in this role should be extremely detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. It is also an essential function of this job that they have the adequate ability to successfully load and unload shipping boxes.
This is a part-time position between 15-30 hours per week. Hours may vary outside of a nine to five schedule.
Duties Include, but Will Not be Limited to:
- Collaborate with team members to review and organize incoming and outgoing delivery needs
- Maintain the support and tracking documentation for ordering and invoicing
- Regularly check, plan, and place orders with suppliers as needed
- Maintain accurate records and monitor inventory control
- Maintain appropriate contact with suppliers and receivers to resolve any issues with shipments within a timely manner
- Stock and maintain required packaging materials for both shipments and or device storage
- Adhere to any protocols and SoPs related to client fulfillment needs and inventory management processes
Ideal Requirements:
- Fundamental knowledge or 6 – 12 experience in Transportation Warehousing, and/or Fulfillment
- Excellent organizational skills, priorities management, and focus to complete tasks
- Self-motivated, flexible, committed to follow through and can work well under pressure with associated deadlines
- Has strong logistical skills, planning skills, and an eye for detail
