The Identity & Access Administrator is a member of the End User Technology Services team. The responsibilities of this role include: Identity and Access management, adherence to security compliance and advancing the end-user experience. The End User Technology Services team provides IT services and support for all Bright Health employees. Our client is the Bright Health employees and you will be a part of the team that is the first line of support for overall success. As a department we have a philosophy of all hands-on-deck. We do not shy away from small tasks that often happen behind the scenes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for delivering enterprise-wide identity, access, directory, and authentication services.
  • Work closely with the Bright Health Infosec team to align access management with our internal policies.
  • Work with internal teams to assist in design for access management on new applications and projects.
  • Documents existing workflow/current business processes around Access Management.
  • Work with internal teams to assist in design for access management on new applications and projects.
  • Engages with key business stakeholders and customers as it relates to all supported systems and applications to verify, validate, and audit access.
  • Ensure proper safeguards are in place to protect confidential information and that users have appropriate access to software systems.
  • Complete implementation of RBAC (Role Based Access Controls) to meet organizational business needs. Documents existing workflow/current business processes, and aids in prioritization of IT service requests.
  • Manage MFA in Azure and work to enhance other application by incorporating them into MFA
  • Manage SSO implementations. Implement SSO for all vendors that have the capability and work with teams as they bring on vendors to make sure that they considering SSO at the time of purchase
  • This position is responsible for the fulfillment of Identity and Access Management requests based on a Role-Based Access Controls model
  • Manage Active Directory (AD), User Permissions and Group Policies in accordance with security policies and procedures.
  • Act as an escalation point for system access issues and coordinate with vendors and other external partners as needed to resolve issues.
  • Manage onboarding & offboarding process to ensure access is in place on first day and removed on last day.
  • Assist with maintenance of system processes, support documentation, and user access audits
  • Administer user account processes, systems, and integrations across systems (e.g., O365, Azure AD, etc.) in a timely accurate manner.
  • Assist in the execution of IT planned initiatives including hitting deadlines and achieving goals or projects as assigned

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor or Associate degree (Ideally in Technology or Security), or relevant work experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with and managing access for End User Environments
  • Technical expertise with Access Management (Specifically on Microsoft and Azure cloud platform)
  • Previous experience providing technical/security support to end users
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and manage technical projects, including identification of project scope, requirements, deliverables, and coordination of project design and implementation activity

  • Skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and the analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of complex information
  • Outstanding communication skills as well as proficiency in interpreting results and formulating recommendations/action plans
  • Familiarity with SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect technologies, and Azure Active Directory
