We are looking for an IT Business Analyst who is passionate about using technology to drive meaningful change at SailPoint.  The IT Sales and Marketing Business Analyst will be a key member of our growing IT Enterprise Applications team.  This critical role will act as the liaison between the Enterprise Applications team and SailPoint’s Sales and Marketing organizations ensuring that our business applications infrastructure and associated business processes are optimized for success.  This person will work closely across all levels of the organization to help plan, implement, and manage creative technology solutions to meet the business challenges associated with our fast paced and growing environment.  This role requires an individual with the ability to drive collaborative change by closely tying business needs to technology.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Subject matter expert who works directly with SailPoint’s Sales and Marketing teams to support their processes and systems, understand their business challenges/requirements, and help identify improvements and solutions
  • Help plan, implement, and manage the technology stacks used to support Sales and Marketing business functions
  • Build and manage a strong partnership between IT and our business partners. 
  • Help plan for new solutions and ensure that existing solutions meet the demands of the business and its key stakeholders
  • Help develop and maintain analytics and dashboards to support the business
  • Help maintain a strategic systems roadmap outlining current and future business application architecture
  • Enable change by defining needs and assessing and recommending technical solutions and optimizations
  • Assist Project Managers in development and execution of project plans using associated project planning tools; may also manage projects of limited scope
  • Minimize uncertainty and maximize cross-organizational teamwork
  • Ensure process documentation is complete
  • Document data transformation rules to support application integrations and reporting requirements
  • Primary responsibility for QA and testing of systems and processes

 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

  • 3-5 years of previous experience in an IT Business Analyst role with emphasis on marketing and/or sales operations
  • A bachelor's degree in an IT, sales, or marketing discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Strong experience with CRM and Marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and Eloqua
  • Expertise with Analytics and BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik,  or Domo is preferred
  • Familiarity with key Sales and Marketing operations processes such as the sales cycle, prospecting, demand generation, pipeline management, and account-based marketing
  • Strong analytical, research, problem solving, and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to identify issues and develop sound, practical, and creative solutions
  • Experience in a disciplined approach to facilitating business review meetings
  • Aptitude to understand complex business processes
  • Proven skills at cultivating strong working relationships and working well within a team to learn and share knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to comprehensively and clearly present strategic issues and solutions
