DESCRIPTION

The IT infrastructure Support Engineer is responsible for contributing to the smooth functioning of network and infrastructure operations at PillPack fulfillment centers (FCs) and office locations. The IT infrastructure Support Engineer will support both the local IT infrastructure and shall assist the team to remotely support fulfillment centers and office locations across multiple time-zones. The engineer shall create and support best practices, triage and standard operating procedures, and perform Tier 1 through Tier 3 IT Infrastructure support activities inclusive of disaster recovery. Together with IT Infrastructure Engineers and third-party providers you will provide reliable, timely, and effective support, triage, and remediation to all infrastructure related incidents and customer requests.
· Ensure stable and reliable IT infrastructure services and operations.
· Provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 network and IT infrastructure support for on-premise and hybrid cloud environments
· Provide timely response to tickets and appropriate escalation to the IT Infrastructure Engineering team.
· Monitor the network performance on a daily basis
· Troubleshoot the network and rectify the hardware faults
· Install and maintain the network monitoring, analysis, and reporting tools
· Provide technical assistance for network design, implementation, and integration of network changes.
· Install network hardware and software
· Apply the configuration changes through the change control systems and processes including Firewalls
· Assist in handling the operation of advanced IP network services
· Support and maintain remote fulfillment and office location networks
· Develop sustainable solutions to handle complex issues with repeatable processes.
· Work in collaboration with the network engineering teams
· Take care of the networking, routing and interconnectivity issues
· Mitigate risks, control costs, and schedule variance for large scale projects.
· Supports network operational issues such as vendor escalation.
· Assist in building new network infrastructure.
· Support and monitor server, virtual machine and computer applications that are used by the organization.
· Monitor network security in coordination with the team.
· Create and update documentation for local and remote sites.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in IT, System Engineer, Computer Science, or requisite experience
· At least 3 years of experience in areas such as: network, system, database design and administration, data center operations, and/or operations support
· Ability to think logically and demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in RedHat Ansible
· Experience creating applications or utilities in Bash, PowerShell or Python
· Experience with AWS for networking, VPN, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, EC2 and hyper converged networks
· Experience in network security and remediation.
· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
· Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
· Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA)
