About the Role
Orchard is looking for an Operations Manager to manage a team that handles many of our compliance functions. The ideal candidate is someone who loves people management and coaching, wants to dive into the data to effectively manage metrics, and has a strong attention to detail to help support this growing team.This is a full time role that will report into the Director of Customer Experience and will be based in our growing Austin office.
What You'll Do Here:
- Hire, coach, and lead a growing team of Operations Associates supporting our Agent, Accounting and Title partners
- Dive into the details with your direct reports to understand the nuances of their role while also managing your team's results
- Hold the team accountable for performance, ensuring they are meeting or exceeding SLAs
- Work with cross-functional leaders on Orchard’s Sales, Listing Operations, Contracts, Title, Lender, and Accounting teams to refine processes across the operation
- Act as a point of escalation for your direct reports and cross-functional leaders during the customer journey, especially in the days leading up to closing
- Collect feedback from the Operations Associate team and work with Operations leadership teams to develop process improvements for your team
We'd Love to Hear From You if You Have:
- 2+ years of experience managing teams (experience in real estate or compliance functions is a plus)
- Familiarity with working in an organization that uses (and builds!) technology to enable operational processes that drive customer outcomes
- Skills as a people manager who can build, develop, manage, and drive a team’s performance through coaching, motivation, and metrics
- A history of getting things done in complex, fast moving environments

We're continuing to work from home until it's safe for all employees to return to the office.
