Partner Inventory Data Entry Specialist
Role:
As our client base is steadily increasing, we are excited to bring on an Inventory Data Analyst to our Partner Channel Operations team in Austin, TX!
This role plays an important part in building out our customers' inventory database.
Core Competencies:
- Thorough understanding restaurant operations and item level ingredients
- Knowledge of how to create recipes, yields, and equivalencies.
- Self-driven, able to complete projects in a timely and structured manner
- Able to communicate with any level of operations- Managers to COO
- Ability to understand Accounting Acumen a bonus
Responsibilities:
- Create and import Raw Ingredients and Recipes into customers' database from the customer supplied documents (Vendor Order Guides, Inventory Count Sheets, Recipe Books)
- Interpret and reformat the following data points into Best Practice/Importable Format:
- Units of Measure
- Naming Convention of the Items
- Vendor Information (codes, names, descriptions, pack sizes)
- Categorize item based on type
- Cost and Inventory accounts
- Look up and assign any necessary conversions to item setup (i.e. weight to volume)
- Take customer-issued Recipe Books and program into the Restaurant365 software, including:
- Yield
- Portion
- Units of Measure
- Ingredients
- Step-by-step Instructions
- Other pertinent Recipe Data (pictures, shelf life, serving containers, etc.)
- Link Recipes to Menu Items (Plate Builds) in Restaurant365.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong computer skills
- Strong excel knowledge
- Ability to sequence/restructure spreadsheets
- Strong organization and time management; ability to prioritize tasks
- Good written and verbal communication
- Restaurant industry is a huge plus!
