Responsible for contributing to the definition, development, and execution of the Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) for various aspects of Retail, Supply, Delivery, and related operations. Ensures the stores and regions understand, implement, and adhere to the global policies and procedures. Monitors the local operations, identifying patterns, trends, and areas for improvement, working with cross-region and global stakeholders to ensure local consideration in broader initiatives and programs. Communicates, educates, and trains store and regional Team Leaders and Team Members in SOP implementation and execution.

Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all product teams are accounted for in the Kronos application. Partners with Global Retail Operations to ensure stores and regional leadership understand, implement, and adhere to the scheduling guidelines. Works with the Global Workforce Planning team to validate time standards. Supports store training and pilots for time studies. Monitors schedule compliance and helps identify areas of improvement for further SOP evolution and time studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Helps implement Kronos schedule updates enterprise wide.
  • Support in implementation and training of Kronos SOPs.
  • Helps pilot Kronos solutions to validate that SOPs guidelines are being adhered to and properly measured.
  • Creates content and training for store and regional team members to understand Kronos usage.
  • Communicates, represents, and upholds the WFM core values and business philosophy to Team Members.
  • Assists in the design, creation, and execution of new Retail Operations Processes
  • Monitors the SOP implementation and ongoing operations, identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyzes recurrent and systemic issues, performing root cause analyses and driving sustainable resolution strategies.
  • Addresses and resolves the issues raised by the Team Members and local / regional operations stakeholders.
  • Monitors the functional activity, processes, and outcomes, recommending areas for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with store team members, store/regional Leadership, Global Merchants, Global Retail Operations Leaders.

Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of operations for all store product teams.
  • Strong understanding of Kronos labor standards and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of the store retail functions, including strategy, financial planning, assortment planning, promotional planning, and pricing.
  • Strong understanding of supplier, distributor, and Logistics processes and key performance indicators.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and workflow management software.
  • Conveys and/or consults on issues of moderate to significant complexity.
  • Regularly interacts with colleagues and third-party representatives up to the senior leadership level.
  • Provides the process and policy advice to Team Members and vendors / suppliers.
  • Provides guidance to the less experienced Team Members.
  • Consults with and advises the senior-level stakeholders and leaders, internally and externally.
  • Expert understanding of the standard project management methodologies and requirements.
  • Expert ability to plan, estimate, organize, and monitor projects.
  • Advanced ability to oversee and advise on project management issues and assist with overcoming barriers.
  • Expert ability to keep multiple projects on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with the stakeholder’s deadlines.
  • Leverages vendor, supplier, customer, market, and industry understanding to drive Retail Operations-related decisions and recommendations.
  • Demonstrates exceptional knowledge of the WFM product mix, supply base, and retail operations. A strong understanding of seafood terminology and industry standards

Education & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
