The IT Infrastructure & Operations team at Vista Equity Partners provides the foundational technology services that allow the firm to collaborate and scale. These include our service desk, corporate network and infrastructure, collaboration and A/V tools, identity management, and software and hardware asset lifecycle management. We are reinventing ourselves and processes to deliver world-class IT solutions.

You will work with a growing team of IT Systems Engineers in our Austin headquarters and remote offices in Chicago, San Francisco, Oakland, and New York City. In this hands-on role, you'll design and implement our backend systems, validate performance, factor in security, and proactively monitor every corner of our stacks.

The successful candidate will help us scale seamlessly during a period of high firm growth, while preserving a collaborative culture, maintaining the highest standard of service, and developing exceptional experiences for our employees from day one and beyond.

This role is based in Austin, TX and is for an immediate start.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with your peers on designing, developing and maintaining Vista's corporate IT infrastructure
• No system is off limits - you can work with automation, PowerShell, Cloud IaaS, IAM, security, systems deployment and management, virtualization, UC/UCaaS, networking, AV and video conferencing and more
• Evaluate, recommend and integrate new technology to enhance the lives and working environment of our employees
• Make data-driven decisions
• Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the technology team
• Willingness to work flexible/odd hours at times, based on business needs
• Documents, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• 2-3 years of experience in similar role or organization; familiarity with a professional services organization is welcomed
• PowerShell, Azure, Office 365 - AAD, Exchange Online, InTune
• Wintel, Active Directory, VMware, Nutanix, Zerto, Cisco UCM
• PingFederate/IAM/SAML/SCIM, Box, Slack, Jamf, Splunk, SQL
• Working technical knowledge of Cisco or other networking vendors
