Who You Are:
Social Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Associate to join our team in Austin, TX. This individual will be responsible for handling employee payroll and a variety of HR projects. The ideal candidate has phenomenal attention to detail, passion for the company’s culture and willingness to go the extra mile to always ensure a positive employee experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Processes payroll on semi-monthly basis, including reconciling payroll data with general ledger.
- Performs payroll/benefit-related reconciliations to General Ledger and other accounts.
- Conducts audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends any corrective action.
- Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees.
- Reconciles the benefits statements.
- Performs payroll/benefit-related reconciliations to General Ledger and other accounts.
- Assists HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of previous payroll and benefits experience
- Experience with ADP (benefits & timekeeping) and E-Verify
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel/data analysis skills
- Ability to handle confidential, time sensitive matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
