What You’ll Do

An amazing place to work takes incredible people. We are looking for an experienced Director of Product who will lead our product organization to the next level. You will guide, manage, and lead product managers and designers to build a passionate community of customers that love the product you helped fabricate. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to strategize, design, build, and roll-out products that deliver on the company’s vision and strategy.

 

As a Director of Product at TeleVet, you’ll take ownership of one of the most valuable pieces of the company—our product. The product team is at the center of everything we do at TeleVet. You’ll work closely not only with the engineering team, but also sales, marketing, and customer success to make sure everyone has what they need to help the company achieve its mission. Key pieces of this role include excellent communication and organizational skills. 

 

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Lead the product team to translate product strategy into detailed requirements, prototypes, wireframes, and HiFi mockups to get validation along the way.

  • Manage a short term and long term product roadmap that prioritizes the needs of current customers, unblocks sales and delivers on our long term strategy.

  • Prioritize the roadmap based on customer ROI, sales opportunities, and the long term strategic goals maximizing ROI as much as possible.

  • Be a highly competent individual contributor willing to dive in whenever necessary while balancing the leadership responsibilities of the product organization.

  • Drive the product team to test and validate plans, confirm or invalidate product hypotheses, and deliver value in as small increments as possible.

  • Gain a deep understanding of our platform and our users, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, drive growth and increase usage and revenue.

  • Create buy-in for the product vision internally and with key external partners.

  • Deliver A+ product launches including working with marketing, sales, and customer success teams.

  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding through product demos, in-app onboarding workflows, help articles, and internal documentation.

  • Represent the company by talking with customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.

  • Consume and synthesize large amounts of information to help guide strategic decisions about our product.

  • Comfortable owning revenue or metric targets and delivering features and adoption that exceed those targets.

 

Who You Are 

  • Great candidates will have strong design and UX instincts

  • You are hands-on and never shy away from a task that stands in the way of execution just because it is tedious or because someone else could conceivably do it.

  • Well organized and highly attentive to details

  • Expert knowledge of evaluating tradeoffs and maximizing team capacity and potential

  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator 

  • Great at prioritizing

  • Ability to filter large amounts of information and identify key areas of focus

  • Willingness to say no and back decisions with logic and data

  • Contagious excitement around product

  • Leadership of a cross functional agile team


 

Qualifications include: 

  • 5+ years of early-stage product management ideally in healthcare technology, workflow and efficiency platforms, and/or product-led B2B SaaS. 

  • 2+ years managing direct reports

  • 2+ years managing multiple roadmaps across an organization

  • Proven track record of managing multiple product roadmaps and all aspects of successful product throughout its lifecycle

  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies, and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
