Product Development Coordinator
Job Description
Product development coordinators help manage our software development process, working closely with the development and quality assurance teams to ensure consistent, accurate and timely delivery of products, features and bug fixes. These coordinators must be proficient with office software to write communications, schedule and run inter-departmental meetings, keep accurate process records and metrics and prepare presentations. They participate in company meetings to suggest ways to increase efficiency during development and testing efforts. These coordinators strive to maximize team effectiveness.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Groom software feature and bug backlog tickets and ensure compliance with our development process and prioritization policies
- Run status review meetings with stakeholders from Development, Professional Services, Account Management, Product Management and executive stakeholders
- Coordinate planning, development and testing activities for major and minor software releases
- Coordinate internal software development projects for accurate and timely delivery with stakeholder engagement
- Work closely with multiple departments including product management, engineering, product development, project management, and operations to bring a product or feature to market.
Skills & Requirements
- 1+ years in a project, product, or engineering process management
- Ability to communicate with different personality types and roles (e.g., development, sales, support, customer, executive) effectively and build strong relationships
- Process oriented with an eye for detail, efficiency and organization
- Familiarity with industry software development practices such as Agile, waterfall, etc.
