About Routefusion
Routefusion is the first embedded cross-border-payments-as-a-service company founded by software engineers for software engineers. Routefusion's API enables neo-banks, payroll providers, platforms, and marketplaces to begin offering cross-border payments to their customers in as quickly as two days. With a single integration, Routefusion customers have access to more than seven different banking and FX providers. In February 2021, the company closed $3.6 million in seed funding, led by Silverton Partners with additional participation from Initialized Capital, NextWorld Capital and William Hockey, co-founder of Plaid.
Routefusion was founded in 2018 by Colton Seal and Richard Scappaticci and is based in Austin, TX.
Position Summary
As the Head of Product Implementation you will be guiding our customers through their implementations of our product, and helping build out the implementation organization at Routefusion. This role will begin with executing the product implementation role and will lead into hiring and leading the implementation organization.
You should demonstrate sound technical knowledge as well as exceptional communication, and customer service skills. Having a passion for driving the success of our customers is a critical component to this role. You will also be in a unique position to spot market trends and thus will communicate closely with product and engineering teams. A willingness to inspire clients, and the ability to work both independently and within a team will be key to your success.
Key Relationships:
Reports to Richard Scappaticci, CTO and Co-Founder.
Key Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients during the customer journey in order to identify business, and technical requirements.
• Creating a project plan for each client, detailing the tasks that need to be completed for the timely installation of customized software systems.
• Communicating with clients throughout the software integration process to answer questions relating to the product, obtain feedback and approval.
• Execute and improve internal implementation processes.
• Educating clients on how to use, integrate, and operate purchased software systems.
• Ensuring that the engineering and sales teams are aware of key deliverables and project milestones.
• Work with the product team to provide feedback from customers in the integration process.
• Ability to communicate roadmap timelines for customers awaiting features.
• Hire, train, and lead new team members as we build the organization.

Ideal Candidate

• Has an understanding of web APIs and standards such as REST and GraphQL.
• Has an understanding of what JSON is and how it interfaces with web systems.
• Prior experience with a company that followed standard practices around the software development life cycle.
